Those were the days when Kapil was reigning supreme with his awesome batting prowess (apart from his superior bowling and alert fielding), where he would just walk in soaking the sun by directly looking into it. It was akin to him taking an aim at it as if he wants to direct the ball towards it and he often hit the ball in air - tall and far.
Following the rules of time, Natraj pencils came up with an ad - "Yeh laga sixer". I couldnt get the video of that commercial, but here is a print version of it. Revel in nostalgia.

You should see this ad. Its aired in Indian hindi channels in US. Dont know if its aired else where.
They show this little kid struggling with loose pants and trying to hold a balloon. Obviously, while trying to hold onto the pant, looses the balloon. Next time, He goes to a ice cream cart. He wants to hold one ice cream in each hand, but cant because of his loose pants. Then this guy shows up with a safety pin and the punch line comes in the back ground. We take care of you while u look at the world.
I didnt get the punch line quite right but yeah, the ad is very cute.

Well its like in my office, kids weren'nt even born, or they were too small babies in nappies when Natraj ka sixer came up...so one day this kid was playing Stick Cricket, I exclaimed, ye laga chakka natraj firse champion.....guys my age were laughing...the juniors were lost ol guys joke I guess
