The taste that gets you started up!

I do keep getting requests to post the Nescafe commercial made by Rajiv Menon and I think I found an online link for that, but not a video clip that I can embed here.

So as a consolation, I present another preppy commercial made back in 1998. Enjoy them both.

Now here is the online link for that most wanted clip :) Courtesy Humayun! Danke Sir.

Purab se Surya Uga

This clip used to be aired back in '90s by Rashtriya Sakshrata Mission to further literacy rate in the country. It was a sweet clip which was short and patriotic.

I notice that many people are coming to see this ad clip looking for its lyrics. Here it is - courtesy Kanan :)

hahaha! ok here goes:

purab se surya uga faila ujiyara

yakeen nahin aata yeh wohi kishan hai?

purab se surya uga faila ujiyara
jaagi har disha disha jaaga jag saara
purab se surya uga faila ujiyara

(inaudible words)

rashtriya saksharta mission

ला इरा इला lyril

How many of you dont remember Priety zinta showering under those towering falls, prancing around in her bikini? Ok, if you dont remember that means you havent watched it.

Unfortunately though, I couldnt find that exact commercial, but a version before that and a version after that.

laaa lala lala laa.. laaaa, la la la LYRIL!

I think this later version is little bit risque, but extremely creative nevertheless. The guy taking a bit of red-mirchi and trying to cool himself of his babe...hmm yumm ;-)

I Love you RASNA

Now comeon, this summer gotta get its chill back. The soaring temperatures might be bringing a lot of new drinks, what with that 'pulpy orange' drink - shake well campaigns. However, there is no such commercial that can beat the essense (no pun intended) this ad for us all.

It doesnt hurt too bad now that this nanhe munhe bacchi turn out to be a hottie herself. umm yumm ;-)

Whatz the Adzz?

This website lists all the classic commercials aired on Indian television - "palmolive da jawaab nahin", "boost is the secret of my energy" and many such. I welcome feedback, requests and words of encouragement in form of comments from my visitors. It just doesnt seem right when there are about 200 visits a day, but only handful of comments :)
